Prelude: O Sons and Daughters (RS 612)

Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
O sons and daughters, let us sing!
The King of heav’n the glorious King,
O’er death today rose triumphing. Alleluia!
That Easter morn, at break of day,
The faithful women went their way
To seek the tomb where Jesus lay. Alleluia!
An angel clad in white they see,
Who sat, and spoke unto the three,
‘Your Lord has gone to Galilee.’ Alleluia!
That night the^apostles met in fear;
Amidst them came their Lord most dear,
And said, ‘My peace be on all here.’ Alleluia!
When Thomas, first the tidings heard,
How they had seen the risen Lord,
He doubted the disciples’ word. Alleluia!
‘My wounded side, O Thomas, see;
Behold my hands, my feet,’ said he,
‘Not faithless, but believing be.’ Alleluia!
No longer Thomas then denied,
He saw the feet, the hands, the side;
‘You are my Lord and God,’ he cried. Alleluia!
How blest are they who have not seen,
And yet whose faith has constant been,
For they eternal life shall win. Alleluia!
On this most holy day of days,
To God your hearts and voices raise,
In laud, and jubilee and praise. Alleluia!

Entrance Hymn: Jesus Christ is Risen Today (RS 614)

Jesus Christ is ris’n today, Alleluia!
Our triumphant holy day, Alleluia!
Who did once upon the cross, Alleluia!
Suffer to redeem our loss. Alleluia!
Hymns of praise then let us sing, Alleluia!
Unto Christ, our heav’nly King, Alleluia!
Who endured the cross and grave, Alleluia!
Sinners to redeem and save. Alleluia!
But the pains which he endured, Alleluia!
Our salvation have procured; Alleluia!
Now above the sky he’s King, Alleluia!
Where the angels ever sing. Alleluia!
Sing we to our God above, Alleluia!
Praise eternal as his love; Alleluia!
Praise him, now his might confess, Alleluia!
Father, Son, and Spirit blest. Alleluia!

Responsorial: Psalm 118 (RS 94)
R: This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad;

Preparation Hymn : Crown Him with Many Crowns (RS 669)

1. Crown him with many crowns,
The Lamb upon his throne.
Hark! How the heav’nly anthem drowns
All music but its own.
Awake, my soul, and sing
Of him who set us free,
And hail him as your heav’nly King
Through all eternity.
2. Crown him the Lord of life,
Who triumphed o’er the grave,
And rose victorious in the strife
For those he came to save.
His glories now we sing,
Who died and rose on high,
Who died, eternal life to bring,
And lives that death may die.
3. Crown him the Lord of love—
Behold his hands and side,
Rich wounds, yet visible above,
In beauty glorified.
No angel in the sky
Can fully bear that sight,
But downward bends his burning eye
At mysteries so bright.
4. Crown him the Lord of peace,
Whose pow’r a scepter sways
From pole to pole, that wars may cease,
Absorbed by prayer and praise.
His reign shall know no end,
And round his pierced feet
Fair flow’rs of paradise extend
Their fragrance ever sweet.
5. Crown him the Lord of years,
The master of all time,
Creator of the rolling spheres,
And risen Lord sublime.
All hail, Redeemer, hail!
For you have died for me;
Your praise and glory shall not fail
Throughout eternity.

Communion Hymn: Worthy Is The Lamb

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain
To receive honor and glory
Worthy are the ones who believe
To receive the goodness of God
Worthy are You O Paschal Lamb
Wisdom and strength belong now to You
You laid down Your life and died upon the cross
We’ve become a people of hope
Worthy are You O Bread of Life
Salvation and joy belong now to us
By conquering death and rising to new life
We’ve become a people of praise
Worthy are You O Risen Christ
Wonders and signs revealing Your might
Your power and glory shines upon our lives
We’ve become a light for the world

Communion Hymn: Resucitó (RS 630)

Resucitó, resucitó, resucitó, aleluya.
Aleluya, aleluya, aleluya, resucitó.
La muerte ¿dónde está la muerte?
¿Dónde está mi muerte?
¿Dónde su victoria?
Gracias sean dadas al Padre
que nos pasó a su reino
donde se vive de amor.
Alegría, alegría hermanos,
que si hoy nos queremos
es que resucitó.
Si con Él morimos, con Él vivimos,
con Él cantamos. ¡Aleluya!
And death now, vanished is the fear now,
banished are my tears now,
death has passed away.
The kingdom, praise to God, the kingdom!
Raised up to the kingdom,
we shall live in love.
Our gladness, blessful in our gladness,
this will be our gladness,
that he is alive.
With him then, die and live with him then,
rise and sing our hymn then,
sing alleluia.

Communion Hymn: I know that my redeemer lives (RS 611)

I know that my Redeemer lives;
What joy the blest assurance gives!
He lives, he lives, who once was dead;
He lives, my everlasting Head!
He lives, to bless me with his love;
He lives, to plead for me above;
He lives, my hungry soul to feed;
He lives, to help in time of need.
He lives, and grants me daily breath;
He lives, and I shall conquer death;
He lives, my mansion to prepare;
He lives, to bring me safely there.
He lives, all glory to his name;
He lives, my Savior still the same;
What joy the blest assurance gives;
I know that my Redeemer lives!

Concluding Hymn: Sing with All the Saints in Glory (RS 609)

Sing with all the saints in glory,
Sing the resurrection song!
Death and sorrow, earth’s dark story,
To the former days belong.
All around the clouds are breaking,
Soon the storms of time shall cease;
In God’s likeness, we awaken,
Knowing everlasting peace.
O what glory, far exceeding
All that eye has yet perceived!
Holiest hearts for ages pleading,
Never that full joy conceived.
God has promised, Christ prepares it,
There on high our welcome waits;
Ev’ry humble spirit shares it,
Christ has passed the eternal gates.
Life eternal! heav’n rejoices:
Jesus lives who once was dead;
Shout with joy, O deathless voices!
Child of God, lift up your head!
Patriarchs from distant ages,
Saints all longing for their heav’n,
Prophets, psalmists, seers, and sages,
All await the glory giv’n.
Life eternal! O what wonders
Crowd on faith; what joy unknown,
When, amidst earth’s closing thunders,
Saints shall stand before the throne!
O to enter that bright portal,
See that glowing firmament,
Know, with you, O God immortal,
Jesus Christ whom you have sent!
