Catholic Council on Aging (WCCOA):
Come join us on this Council. MaryLou Kellermann is our Church representative from St. Francis Parish on the Washtenaw Catholic Council on Aging, which is approved by the Diocese of Lansing. It is requested that parishes please have two representatives on the council. The Council meets only four months a year: January, March, May, July, on the third Tuesday of those months at 10 a.m. at a different parish, on a rotating basis. The Council is organized by Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw & directed by Connie Hoffman (734-712-3625) . This is a Council with representatives from all of the Washtenaw County Catholic Parishes that share information about what is going on with seniors groups at the different parishes, and most importantly this council plans the Senior Appreciation Mass and Luncheon event each year held in September.
