St.
Francis of Assisi Religious Education
Preschool
Enrichment Program
|
St. Francis offers
two different preschool programs. They are a:
1. Preschool Enrichment
program for children three years or four years of age.
2. Full Time Preschool Program
for four year olds. For more information on the Full Time Preschool
Program for four year olds, please
The Preschool
Enrichment programs are designed to give your child a first experience
of learning within a faith-filled and loving context. With the guidance
of teacher-lead activities, the classes build on the ideas of social play
and exploration. The journey into literacy begins though story-telling
and learning the alphabet. Science and math concepts are explored
through hands-on activities. Music, art, and physical activity help
to develop an early love of learning. Woven throughout the curriculum
is an introduction to the wonder of God’s creation and the love that God
has for each individual child. Denise Cadavieco, head teacher, is
a popular teacher with many years of experience working with the little
ones.
