Habitat for Humanity,
Catholic House Build 2004
Photos & Reflections
On Friday, September 17, 2004, under the direction of Bonnie Monash (Habitat Construction Manager) a group of employees from AMTD, Powertrain Manufacturing Department, Ford Motor Company, Allen Park, filled in the dirt around the Cornerstone House' window wells, added grass seed behind (2) 2004 houses, planted trees and hedges, black dirt was dumped in piles behind 3 previous Habitat houses, reset 3 post holes, and continued constructing the shed.

On Saturday, September 18, 2004, with a small crew (many people did not show up) the black dirt behind 3 previous Habitat houses was spread for future seeding, the shed was shingled and painted, splattered drywall compound was removed from the tub/shower surround and kitchen wall cabinets were hung.

Gwen Sharper from the University of Michigan's Allergy & Clincal Immunology Department delivered a large lunch donated by Dr. James R. Baker Jr. and the Allergy & Clincal Immunology Department .

Thank you.

Thanks for everyone’s help,
Steve Polgar
Catholic House Leader
