| On Thursday, September
9, 2004, installers from Shamrock Floorcovering Services, Inc.
of Ann Arbor laid the entire floor tile. They donated all tile and
labor, thank you.
On Friday, September 10, a small group of Eaton employees vacuumed the interior ceiling, walls and floor, covered the floor with paper and tape for protection, dug a couple post holes, constructed the base for the backyard shed and filled with gravel, painted the front gable sunburst design, and helped install the bathroom door and lock. On Saturday, September 11, a group of Target employees, a family and others started building the shed, painted the house interior with primer and some top coat, dug the remaining railing post holes, finished installing the last of the exterior siding, clients from Eisenhower Center washed red building chalk off the exterior north wall and helped others dig out around the Cornerstone House’ two window wells for future repositioning. Alice Jeffery (AJ, future homeowner) made a surprise visit to see the house for the first time. She is very happy with all the hard work that has gone into the house so far and thanks everyone very much. Steve Polgar
