Catholic House Build 2004
Photos & Reflections
On Thursday, June 24 volunteers from Visteon installed a great portion of our remaining shingles.

On Saturday, June 26, the roof was modified to add a larger overhang over the front porch, a picture window opening was framed per the plans, rear door opening was moved for better access to the utility room, interior walls were modified, and the remaining shingles were installed except for the few over the front porch overhang.  With the help from a few Eisenhower Center clients we were also able to add the remaining Tyvek house wrap, apply radon caulking around the base of the building and pick-up building debris from in and around the construction site.  Eisenhower Center delivered lunch again for the third straight week, thank you.

On Tuesday evening, June 29, all windows and the front door were installed (rear door was delivered damaged).  Some window openings had to be modified and moved before windows could be installed.

We will not work over the July 4 holiday weekend.
