Photos & Reflections
During the week of June 8, the basement pea gravel was
leveled out and visquen was spread over all in preparation
for the basement floor cement pour (thanks to the anonymous
volunteers who performed this task).  The cement was poured
and smoothed also during the week.  On Saturday, June 14, the remaining I-Joists were set and the deck boards were glued
and nailed down.  Our dirt was being pushed back into the hole
just before lunch.  A submarine sandwich lunch was donated by Subway Sandwiches & Salads, 2868 Washtenaw Road, Ann Arbor;  chips and fruit were purchased with money donated by Gary Bezal; drinks were donated by Laura Stimpson and Help was donated by Faith Burns.  Thank you all.  After lunch the basement window well was screwed to the exterior window frame, the remaining deck boards were installed and the basement stair opening was secured.  Next Saturday the basement stairs and adjacent walls will be installed.

Thanks to all the volunteers,
Steve Polgar
