Habitat for Humanity,
Catholic House Build 2003
Photos & Reflections
On Saturday, April 26 we cleared the lot(s) of trees and brush in preparation for building 5 Habitat Houses this spring and fall.  This was a joint clearing with other (Cornerstone, Good News and Parable) church groups.
About 45 volunteers and Habitat partner family members enjoyed the wonderful sunny spring weather, received a strenuous workout and ate a great lunch supplied by the combined church groups.  Laura Stimpson from our Catholic House lunch committee was instrumental in making that happen, thanks Laura.  John Kelly and his crew (from Dexter) again supervised the clearing; we started around 8:30 and finished about 4PM.
Prior to our start build date (hopefully May 24) is excavation, erecting basement walls, installing underground plumbing and pouring the concrete floor.
Thanks for everyone's help,
Steve Polgar
