Electricians returned through the week to do their finish work, they are 95% completed.  On Saturday (October 5) with a large crew of volunteers from EMU's Construction Management Program, Indonesian Christian Church, UM Int Med Dept and others, we were able to complete a great amount of work.  The side porch is now finished, painted and waiting for deck preservative treatment; the front porch is finished.  Interior baseboard molding is finished except for a few closets.  The refrigerator and stove were set in place; countertops will be installed on Tuesday.  Brush and trees cut down and piled up on March 30 were cut smaller and stuffed in garbage containers to be hauled away, that made room for the adjacent house' chain link fence to be installed.  The basement was cleared of any usable wood, screws/nails; the stairs were then given the first coat of paint.  Laura Stimpson once again brought a great lunch, thank you.  During the coming week the HVAC will be completed, kitchen and bathroom countertops installed, plumbing installed, closet molding installed and exterior storm doors installed.  Thanks to all the volunteers once again.

Thanks,
