On Friday Rajala & Sons Finishes, Fowlerville, finished the drywall.  They did a spectacular job!  On Saturday, September 7, when the ceilings and walls were vacuumed, there was hardly any dust collected.  That means that the drywall tape and mud was applied such that minimum sanding was required, proving a quality job.  Also on Saturday a group of volunteers from St. Andrew's, Saline (and others) started painting the interior ceilings and walls. The prime coat and at least one coat of finish paint are applied to all surfaces.  Also, the exterior vinyl siding was finished (it looks great), the closets were framed for shelves, the forms were laid for the sidewalks and the shed was moved to the permanent location.  Laura Stimpson delivered lunch; thank you again.  Next Saturday painting will continue, kitchen and bath cabinets will be installed and closet shelving will be continued.  Thanks everyone, work is progressing nicely.

Thanks,
