On 5/20/02 Steve Polgar <CatholicHouse@CatholicWeb.com> wrote: ******************** On Saturday (May 18) the basement walls for our Catholic Habitat House, 1265 Highland Court, were delivered and set in place with a crane (see pictures). This work was delayed, which meant volunteers were not needed as scheduled. Hopefully, the underground plumbing and drain lines will be installed and inspected early this week. Mid-week volunteers (Visteon employees) will spread pea gravel and visquen will be laid on the ground before the basement floor cement is poured. If this is finished, floor decking will be installed on the 25th (or possibly May 27, Memorial Day). Erecting the first floor walls could then start on June 1 and every Saturday thereafter construction will continue. Phone calls for help will be coming soon.
